Ryan?s leg has been injured in an accident. He has been forbidden from seeing his best friend, Sarah. Despite this, he and Sarah communicate through email and video. The videos are actually online for the reader and the passwords are provided in the book. Each video takes the reader deeper into the mystery. There is a ghost and deadly warnings trying to dissuade the two from delving into the mystery. However, like all good sleuths, the teens ignore warnings.
